On Monday morning at 11 AM the IDF spokesperson tweeted that IDF aircraft attacked two terrorists belonging to a long range rocket squad of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip.

The precision targeted attack was carried out to remove an immediate threat, and a hit was detected.

Reshet Bet radio reported that at least one of the terrorists, who were riding a motorcycle on their way either to or from a rocket launch, was killed.

The IDF stated earlier that is has not returned to a policy of targeted assassinations of terrorist leaders, and the elimination of Islamic Jihad commander Baha Abu al-Ata was a one-off operation.
