The Israel Defense Forces retaliated Saturday night against Hamas terrorists who launched explosive balloons into southern Israel earlier in the day. IDF aircraft targeted Hamas military posts in southern Gaza.

The balloons, tied together into a cluster that would appear attractive to a child, were attached to drones that carried improvised explosive devices.
In this way, terrorists have been able to attack agricultural fields, forests and even homes and other buildings in southern Israel, by setting them afire and in the case of homes, shattering windows or causing other damage.
