IDF fighter jets attacked eight terrorist targets in three military compounds of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday, in retaliation for a rocket fired into Israeli territory, the IDF Spokesperson’s office reported.
The targets were a military compound in the northern Gaza Strip, a training camp, and a weapons production and storage site in the southern Gaza Strip.
The IDF holds the Hamas terrorist organization responsible for everything happening in and out of the Gaza Strip, and it will bear the consequences for the terrorist acts carried out against the citizens of Israel, the Spokesman stated, adding that the IDF is prepared for a variety of scenarios and is determined to continue its mission to protect the citizens of Israel.
