Israeli security forces overnight Wednesday demolished the home of a terrorist who carried out the shooting attack at Har Adar about a month and a half ago, murdering a Border Policeman and two security guards. A riot broke out during the operation in the village of Beit Surik, which was handled by a Border Police force without casualties.

The terrorist, Nimer Mahmoud Ahmad Jamal, 37, worked in the community as a regular cleaner in one of the homes. According to security sources, the terrorist’s wife ran away to Jordan a few weeks earlier after he had beaten her. The gun that was used in the attack was reported stolen in 2003.

The terrorist arrived at the gate of the community with workers from the Palestinian Authority coming in to work. He then opened fire on the security personnel on duty killing three and wounding one.

Three suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the deadly attack that took the lives of Border Guard Police St. Sgt. Solomon Gaviriya, 20, of Be’er Yaacov, and two private security guards who were working for Har Adar – local resident Or Arish, 25, and Youssef Ottman, 24, of Abu Ghosh.
