Yitzhar stoning victim

An Israeli teen from the Samaria town of Yitzhar was bloodied on Tuesday afternoon, having sustained a head injury on Tuesday after being struck by rocks in a stoning attack.

Arabs from the nearby village of Urif attacked a children’s planting activity that was taking place to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat.

The injured youth was evacuated to a medical facility with minor injuries, according to the Hebrew-language 0404 military website.

IDF soldiers and Border Guard Police officers who arrived at the scene pushed the attackers back towards their village, according to the report.
