The two brothers confessed during their interrogation that they used their father’s building as the spot from which they carried out the attacks. Akram fired in the direction of the Tomb of the Patriarchs and said he hit several civilians. Later they discovered that two of their civilian victims were injured severely. After that attack, they related, they went to their cousin’s wedding.

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, Nazar informed his brother that he was going to carry out another attack. He then fired at a soldier who was standing near the Tomb of the Patriarchs but hit a vehicle nearby instead.

They committed several shooting attacks against an IDF check point in southern Hebron. No injuries were reported.

On Sunday, January 3, Nazar noticed a group of soldiers near the Tomb of the Patriarchs and asked Akram to bring the sniper rifle. Akram fired at the group and hit an IDF officer school cadet, injuring her severely.

On the same day, the two brothers committed another shooting attack at an IDF checkpoint in southern Hebron. A soldier was lightly injured and the two of them fled the scene.

On Saturday, January 9, Nazar was arrested for questioning. A week later Akram took a shot from the Abu Snina neighborhood in Hebron, but no one was injured. Akram confessed to having committed the attack in order to avert suspicion from his brother. After this attack, Akram hid the assault rifle in a quarry owned by his family in southern Hebron.
