The family home of murderer Mohanad Al-Halabi after it was demolished by security forces in the village of Surda, near Ramallah.

IDF and Border Guard forces on Friday night demolished the home of terrorist Muhannad Halabi, who murdered two Jews in Jerusalem in early last October. The demolition was carried out according to instructions from the political echelon. Aharon Bennett was murdered only a few steps from the gate of the Jewish Wittenberg compound in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem on a Shabbat, and Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi, a resident of the Jewish enclave who heard the screams and came downstairs to help was murdered, too.

Halabi had come to Hagai Street in the Old City with the intent of stabbing Jews to death. By the time security forces shot him, he had been able to grab the gun of one of his victims and fire at tourists and at police.
