A delegate from the Red Cross met with convicted terrorist Marwan Barghouti on Thursday, according to an AFP report. It was the Red Cross’s first visit since Barghouti claimed he began a hunger strike 25 days ago – which he wasn’t actually keeping.

The Red Cross delegate would not comment on Barghouti’s health “in accordance with the principles of medical confidentiality,” but one can be sure they didn’t find him starving to death.

Barghouti was filmed sneak-eating in his prison cell on hidden cameras, while calling for his fellow prisoners to continue their hunger strike.

This was not the first time he was caught doing that either.

One wonders if the Red Cross brought him a Pizza Hut pizza.

It should be noted that Red Cross officials have never visited Israelis held captive in Gaza.
