Yonatan Ben Yishai added: “I saw the call when I was in prayer and immediately hurried to the address. I arrived in minutes, with the tallit and tefillin on me. Yigal Mor, a local branch volunteer, joined me and together we rescued the baby safely. A passerby who was at the scene wanted to hurry and immediately smash a window, I prevented him. I’m happy that we were able to rescue the baby quickly and safely, without causing damage to the vehicle.”

Irgun Yedidim reminds parents to carry the car key with them at every entry and exit of the vehicle, so it won’t be locked with the child alone inside. In case of a locked car, contact Irgun Yedidim Center immediately: 1230 (no asterisk).
