In response to Blue and White leader Benny Gantz who said on twitter, “Bibi first we will discuss immunity and afterwards we will deal with the application of sovereignty,” Gush Etzion Regional Council Head (Mayor) Shlomo Ne’eman said:

“We are facing a delusional conversation from the “study halls” of the leaders of Blue and White. Is the sovereignty of a nation over its country to which we dreamed about for 2,000 years really carry the same weight as the debate over immunity? Are you for real? Are these your priorities?”

Ne’eman, addressing Blue and White’s leaders continued saying,

“I see that there are no more ideological disagreements, no more political “entanglements,” no more searching for partners on the other side (the Arabs) – all of this is no longer relevant as all you have on your mind is ‘immunity.'”

Neeman added,

“I appeal at this time to the Prime Minister with a passionate plea: raise us and our country above the shallow and irrelevant discourse that guides the left in regard to the immunity debate – to the important issues the country is busy with. Convene the government, with you at the helm, and make one of the most important decisions in the history of the State – establish our Eastern border once and for all by annexing the Jordan Valley already this Sunday, and then embark on a campaign to continue a right-wing leadership from that starting point. And on Tuesday, when the issue comes up for a vote in the Knesset plenum, we the citizens of the State of Israel will count very well every hand that doesn’t go up and vote for sovereignty over the Jordan Valley. Those who don’t vote for sovereignty, it will be noted on March 2. Forget about their hysterics and make history!”
