Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is already back at work following his annual routine examination of the digestive tract, carried out on Friday.

The test was performed by Professor Eran Goldin, Director of Gastroenterology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, and Professor Yaacov Gozal, under brief sedation.

Deputy Minister Ze’ev Elkin served as temporary Prime Minister during the time Netanyahu was under sedation.

According to his personal physician, Dr. Zvi Herman Berkovich, “Prime Minister Netanyahu’s health is excellent and he has returned to full activity.”

He added that Netanyahu is under urological supervision. Recent laboratory tests have been completely normal. Blood pressure is normal.

“The Prime Minister continues to be followed by an otolaryngologist due to occasional narrowing of the nasal cavity,” he added.
