Five granite and marble tombstones were toppled over Saturday at Washington Cemetery, a mainly-Jewish cemetery in Brooklyn, the NY Daily News reported. An NYPD spokesman announced the hate crimes division has been notified. This is the one more in a string of attacks on Jewish cemeteries, schools and community centers across the US.
So far, hundreds of tombstones have been desecrated in Jewish cemeteries in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Rochester, and now Brooklyn.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind tweeted photos of the toppled headstones on Saturday night, and vowed to show up at the cemetery on Sunday morning to investigate.
