The U.S. dollar has again weakened against the growing strength of the New Israeli Shekel (NIS).

On Thursday, for the first time since August 2014, the rate was NIS 3.493 against the US dollar.

It was down 0.22 percent against the euro, with Thursday’s rate at NIS 3.994.

Since the beginning of this year, the dollar has dropped nine percent against the shekel.

So far, the Bank of Israel has not intervened.
