The CCAR secretary was instructed to send a telegraph to President Woodrow Wilson opposing the establishment of a Jewish state. To help fight the Zionists, the CCAR also passed a resolution that CCAR annual conventions “meet regularly at the same time and in the same city with the recognized corresponding body of Orthodox Judaism.”
