Step six: Clean up, constantly and consistently. Despite the fact that you made sure to cover all the furniture and floors, inevitability, paint splatter will occur. It is much easier to clean up wet paint than dry paint, so as long as it doesn’t interfere with your flow, keep wiping up spills and splatters with a wet cloth. Otherwise, you will find yourself using copious amounts of elbow grease along with expensive paint remover from your floors.

Step seven: Enjoy your beautifully painted room and make sure to point out to all admiring visitors that you painted it yourself.
