Last week my husband and I took our first road trip – we headed up to Niagara Falls with stops in Howe Caverns and Saratoga Springs. One of the great things about a road trip – besides getting to see the beauty of this great land – is no weight limitations!

I knew I wanted to keep eating as healthy as possible – not always easy on vacation – but I was determined to make sure I stared each day out right. So, I took along My Juicer from Ergo Chef’s Kitchen Collection. Each morning I filled the 20 oz travel bottle with a combination of berries,* ice and water, screwed on the blade attachment, but it on the base and in 15 seconds had a smoothie. I replaced the blade attachment with the travel lid and was good to go.

The machine is small enough to fit in a carry-on and easy to clean. It was wonderful to begin each day with a fresh tasting treat.

Here are two great recipes to try: Coolada½ Pineapple, 1 Banana, ¼ cup Coconut, 1 cup Vanilla coconut milk. CremesicleOranges – to taste, 1 cup Vanilla soy milk, 2 Ice Cubes.
