This travesty of justice, the defilement of everything we consider our most elementary civil rights in a democracy is not taking place in Tehran, Damascus, or Pyongyang, but in Ayalon prison in Ramla, Israel, a state whose claim to fame is its being “the only democracy in the Middle East.”
