Of course, eventually all these weapons that flooded out of Libya wound up destabilizing the entire region. We essentially are responsible for creating ISIS in Syria and arming Ansar Bayt alMaqdis in the Sinai.

Many Americans wondered in the aftermath of the attack in Benghazi why no U.S. marines were sent in to save Stevens. Was it because the government was afraid that the nature of what was going on this special mission would be exposed?

I think so. I think – with only a month to the elections – that the administration just wanted to cut their losses and not turn it into a Black Hawk Down situation where they would have more casualties, more explaining to do, and a more thorough investigation afterwards.

One thing that seems so strange about this whole Benghazi affair is that barely anyone was outraged when Ambassador Stevens was killed. Stevens was only the seventh U.S ambassador in history to be killed in the line of duty and the first in 35 years. And yet there were no reprisal attacks. President Obama didn’t even deliver a tough speech.

Not only was there no outrage, Obama went so far as to apologize for any offense that this [anti-Muslim] YouTube video supposedly caused even though he knew it had absolutely nothing to do with the attack. In fact, 10 days after the attack, the U.S. spent $70,000 of tax payer money to air commercials in Pakistan with Hillary Clinton and President Obama apologizing to the Muslim world if anyone was offended by the video.

All it did was just inflame the Muslim world since many people in Pakistan weren’t familiar with this obscure YouTube video. These commercials brought more light to it and unfortunately about 50-60 people died in rioting in Pakistan after they aired.

You say the government knew the attack had nothing to do with the YouTube video and The REAL Benghazi Story cites evidence to support that claim. If so – and if this video is really so obscure – how did the government come up with the idea of blaming it for the attack in Benghazi?

No one in the media has bothered to ask this question. No one asked Hillary Clinton this question during the congressional hearings last year. This video was literally unheard of in the Muslim world until the State Department put out a statement about it. In fact, Fox News did an analysis of all the tweets in Benghazi going back a couple of days before the attack, and there was not one tweet about this YouTube video in Libya whatsoever.

So why did the government pin the attack on a YouTube video? Where did this narrative come from? I hope the select committee that was just formed in Congress will ask this question. But I wouldn’t hold my breath.
