So you speak Japanese?

Yes. When we came there, nobody spoke English, so you had to learn the language. If you spoke to the dog in English, it did nothing. If you spoke to it in Japanese, it understood and did what you wanted. So we figured: If the dog could learn Japanese, we could learn it too.
