I had planned a different response to the word “catastrophe,” but living in Israel now, during the ballistic missile barrages from Iran, that word has taken on a new meaning.

When the sirens rang out this time we knew it wasn’t the Houthis. This was truly life and death stuff. We had to race to the shelter, and wait for the all clear signal. This took place night after night and it could have resulted in a catastrophe unlike anything seen in many years. But Hashem was guiding the hands of our soldiers and many miracles took place. Very sadly, there were also casualties and all of us cried for them.

President Trump came through for Israel, and now we wait and see how things will turn out.

I fervently pray that we are in the days of Mashiach, and if “we have to still wait for him, we will wait for whenever he comes.”
