The puny human lights only hide the dark.
Tonight I want to see what is.
And there shall be light.
… to separate between the light and between the dark…
…and all the forces of nature, wind and storm and tree and rain, creations of a God who wills all into existence with every passing heartbeat.
Tonight I want to see the Forces, extension of their Source. I want to close my eyes from the light, and really see.
I sit in the car, and I open my eyes, reaching, reaching, to the fathomless end of existence that lies beyond my small safe enclosure. All I see is utter blackness.
And I know that I am truly seeing.Chava Adams
