Do you think your English accent, though, is particularly effective?

For the first two or three minutes an audience listening to any foreign accent might be captivated. But if your substance is not strong and clear, you’re going to lose them. It really doesn’t matter in which accent you try to relay a weak message. A weak message remains a weak message. Poor substance remains poor substance. So I don’t think it’s a consequence of the accent. I think it’s a consequence of clear communication which is perhaps more important now than ever before.
