New Jersey’s Heroine Of Holocaust Education

Dr. Vera King Farris insisted on the importance of placing Holocaust Studies in the General Studies curriculum at Stockton, thus ensuring that the college would take second place to no other institution of higher learning in terms of Holocaust awareness and education.

More than 1,000 undergraduates (one-fifth of the undergraduate student population) enroll in Holocaust and Genocide Studies courses per academic year. The overwhelming majority of these students are not Jewish.

Thanks to Dr. Vera King Farris, we have a remarkable antidote to Holocaust denial and a marvelous tool against those who desecrate the memory of our Six Million.
