The Child Enrichment Center, The Shul of Bal Harbour’s preschool, held its annual end-of-year celebration for its Montessori Program on June 3. This year the show was dedicated to the Land of Israel. Although it was not planned, the date of the show also marked the first yahrzeit of Gilad, Naftali, and Eyal, who were taken from our midst in the prime of their lives. In the words of preschool director Chana Lipskar: “Their parents stimulated a resounding and powerful response to this horrific tragedy. We will stand defiant, we will stand strong, and most importantly we will stand united.”

Along those same lines, the 75 children of the Child Enrichment Center’s 3-6 Year Old Montessori Program sang songs of Jewish pride and love of the Land of Israel and Jerusalem. In their sweet voices they also recited the Mi Shebayrach prayer for Israeli soldiers.

The Child Enrichment Center plans to enhance its current curriculum beginning next year in order to provide children with even more opportunities to connect with our homeland, Hebrew language, culture, and geography, drawing from the inspiration of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s love of G-d, the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.
