Chabad of South Broward, located at 1295 East Hallandale Beach Blvd in Hallandale, continued its 35-year-old Purim tradition of delivering thousands of Purim gift bags to seniors in nursing and retirement homes and to patients of all ages in hospitals and all South Broward facilities.

Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, Chabad executive vice president said, “The joy of our staff and volunteers bring to the homebound and infirm is priceless. The Lubavitcher Rebbe wanted the less fortunate to also celebrate Purim with joy. This is why, for 35 consecutive years, we bring smiles, cheer and Purim goodies to those who cannot attend a synagogue. They may be alone, but we make sure they are never forgotten.”
