I am an American.
I am an Israeli.
These words define who and what I am.
I was born into the Jewish faith.
I was born an American citizen.
I CHOSE to be an Israeli.

I love my American heritage and all it has given me.
It surely is the land of opportunity.
I love my Jewish roots that helped me grow to be a good human being.
I love that it has given me the ability to learn and live in our homeland every inch a step in  our Jewish history.

My flags are red, white, and blue
And blue and white too
They both fill me with pride
Both flags fill me with joy and sadness
As we witness Israel’s woes
And America’s demise.

The world at large has become a scary place
For Jews right now the world is not safe.
The collective mind has been poisoned
Their hearts full of hate
We Jews have an awful lot to deal with
That’s been put on our plate.

We’ve forever been surrounded by enemies
In Israel it’s all we’ve ever known
But now in America and throughout Europe…
The seed  has been sown.

Never did I think I’d witness such madness
It boggles the mind
To think that in this day and age
People have not learned from the sins of the past
We’ll have to wait and see how long
This insanity will last.

In the meantime we’ll stay strong
We won’t let it destroy us
Not here, not in the USA
We’ll find a way for our flags
To continue to wave.
