Warsaw Museum Construction Begins

JewishPress Logo

After years of planning, and two years after the initial groundbreaking ceremony, construction has begun for the Museum Of The History Of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland. The start of construction was marked by a gathering at the site of politicians, supporters, dignitaries and friends of the museum from around the world. Representing the North American Council for the museum project was Mr. Sigmund Rolat. A group of 100 cantors performed at the event as part of their whirlwind tour of Poland that also included the Krakow Jewish Festival.
