So if an anti-Semite makes a film about Jews, it is natural to view the film in that light. The film may or may not be anti-Semitic, but the author’s intent cannot be dismissed as irrelevant to the inquiry.

Speaking of inquiries, here’s one Hewitt, Prager and Medved often make: In an era of increasing left-wing anti-Semitism, why don’t more Jews back conservatives? Don’t they see who their friends are?

Some Jews, sadly, do not. But those who do may still feel a twinge of betrayal when even the best of those friends give an anti-Semite a pass to further another agenda.
