The police officers were guarding in the area and were evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals. The policewoman suffered moderate injuries and the policemen is being treated for light injuries.

Arab rioters threw rocks and rioted in an attempt to prevent ambulances from arriving at the scene.

The hit-and-attack was the second in six days. Four young boys were injured last week when a Palestinian Authority terrorist aimed his car at them at a bus stop at the entrance to Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem.

Soldiers and police arrested the terrorist after a short chase.
