Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton was blunt about President Donald Trump’s upcoming speech, and the reactions anticipating the president’s statement recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

“Just a dose of reality… I think popping this bubble is what’s upset a lot of people.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo: “Look, Jerusalem is the capital [of Israel]. But it’s certainly a security concern, and that would be a decision that you would have to talk to Israel about. And whatever is in their best interest, I think, should govern.”

U.S. Senator Charles Schumer (NY-D) allegedly advised President Trump to declared Jerusalem the “undivided” capital of Israel, according to a report Tuesday published in The Weekly Standard.

But no public statement was tweeted by the Senate Minority Leader on his official Twitter account.
