IDF soldier Netanel Felber, who was critically wounded in a terrorist attack at the Givat Assaf Junction this past December, was released from Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center on Wednesday, and transferred to a rehabilitation facility.

While in the hospital, he underwent several life-saving procedures.

According to a hospital spokesperson Felber was released in stable condition, but has yet to regain consciousness. He faces a prolonged rehabilitation process.

Felber was wounded on December 13, 2018 in a shooting attack by a Hamas-linked Palestinian Authority terrorist. Staff Sergeant Yuval Mor Yosef, 20, and Staff Sergeant Yosef Cohen, 19 were both killed in the attack.

The attacker, Assam Barghouti, has since been captured by Israeli security forces.
