IDF tanks seen deployed in a field near the Gaza border

An IDF tank accidentally opened fire at Gaza on Monday during a military exercise, the IDF spokesperson said.

“The incident is under investigation,” the spokesperson said.

According to an initial probe into the incident, an abandoned building was damaged by the tank fire.

No casualties were reported.
