A 46-year old archaeologist was killed in a cave-in on Thursday at the Sebastia National Park in Shromron, Israel Radio reported. The archaeologist was exploring a newly discovered cave that was exposed during roadwork at the site.

Other workers at the site tried to resuscitate the man, without success.
