Moshe Rabbeinu earned many titles throughout his life. Nevertheless, his legacy remains tied to his role as our teacher. Educational leaders wear many hats, some that potentially threaten to influence their roles as mechanchim, and would do well to look toward Moshe for his ability to always be the rebbe he was meant to be.

Remarkably, Moshe Rebbeinu did this all “li’einei kol Yisrael.” The Torah emphasizes the fact that all eyes were on him throughout his lifetime, and his leadership becomes that much more inspiring when one considers what his experience must have been like in that environment.

During this time of year and under the current circumstances of our people, however, it is hard to look beyond Moshe Rabbeinu’s passion for us to be unified and living peacefully in our homeland. The name Moshe immediately brings that to mind and it is a part of his legacy we sincerely hope to realize speedily and in our days.
