We recognize how important it is for one to get married and how difficult the search can be. Therefore, let us do away with all perverse minhagim that may delay or complicate anyone’s search. It is not our role to play God and determine the order in which people should be getting married. It is our role only to assist singles wherever possible and cut out the nonsense that makes dating any more complicated than it has to be.
