“I knew your grandfather!” he exclaimed. He was saddened to learn that my grandfather had recently passed away. He proceeded to share this story with us.
“Your grandfather was an incredible man,” Yosef concluded. “He was also a very humble man. I am sure that is why you were never aware of this story. Money comes and money goes. It’s one’s acts of chesed and tzedakah that last forever.”

Hearing this story meant a lot to me, as I felt like I had been given a true gift. I was exceedingly grateful to God for arranging my “chance” encounter with Yosef.
