Ktzat Ivrit: Ata Lo Tafria Li

Printer-Ready Page Layout

Culture and Sports Minister Limor Livnat (Likud-Beiteinu) had an encounter with an online sports reporter during a press conference, a reporter she said had run personal attacks on her, with a campaign of lies. She might be right for all I know. The great thing that ensued was that she used her press conference to scold him like a school child, and when he dared talk back, she told the guards to take him out for disturbing a press conference.

I have no idea whether the newspaper workers guild (a name I made up on the spot) will go after Minister Livnat. But a very talented video editor named Noy Alooshe craftily turned Livnat’s repeated mantra: Ata lo tafria li – You will not interrupt me, into a magnificent rap ditty.

One warning – since watching the video, I’ve been singing and humming the refrain and I can’t get it out of my head. So, you’ve been warned.

Below is the straight forward video of the same encounter.
