Forget the investigation of Binyamin “Fuad” Ben-Eliezer’s apartment that forced him to drop out of the race for president. That’s bupkis.

Working off a tip, Israeli police found and opened up Fuad’s secret safe deposit box at Bank Discount, according to a Channel 2 report, and found some $600,000 in cash stashed away.

Oops. How did that get there? Was he keeping it safe for his friend Hosni Mubarak?
