In this week’s parsha (Exodus 21:1-24:18) we are in the midst of two of the most well known and epic stories in the entire Tanach: Revelation at Sinai and the Sin of the Golden Calf. The Israelites experience their highest high and their lowest low, all within the same few verses. 1. Our Privilege
    We were enslaved,
We were forced to live in ghettos,
We were denied basic human rights,
We were driven from our homes and countries,
    We were discriminated against and
We were slaughtered by the millions.
And yet, by our own determination and faith, we overcame all of this.
    Who are we?
    We are Jews
    That’s our privilege
