Israeli Preisdent Isaac Herzog kindled the first candle Sunday e ening on the Hanukkah menorah at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

The event was held under heavy security especially in light of terrorist threats from Gaza’s ruling Hamas terror group.
