Gavriel Lavi, 47, was stabbed and critically wounded by an Arab terrorist at the Damascus Gate at Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday, May 31, 2019.
He arrived in critical condition, but the medics and doctors were successful in saving his life. A week and a half later, he sat in front of the camera to recount the harrowing attack and the saga of saving his life in the days following.
