The body of Israeli tour guide Uri Bar, 58, was being flown back to Israel Thursday after he was lifeless in the mountainous Kazbegi area of Georgia near the border with Russia, according to Israel’s Foreign Ministry.

Bar was reported missing on Monday morning, when Israeli searchers working together with local authorities tracked him down. The cause of death was unknown. Bar asked that his body be donated to science.
