Hamas is accusing security personnel in Ramallah and a senior PA official who is close to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, of being behind a series of explosions that have shaken Gaza recently, according to Israel Radio.

Hamas claims that the PLO has paid Gazan citizens to do the bombings and has been inciting young people in Gaza via the Internet.

At a press conference held in Gaza, a Hamas official presented a young Gazan man’s confession. The young man confessed that he received instructions from a senior officer in the Intelligence services in Ramallah, as well as from Abbas close associate, Adviser for Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Habash. His mission was to help destabilize the Gaza Strip.

The young Gazan man also confessed to Hamas that he attempted to booby-trap a car and blow it up in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza.
