Smoke trails are seen as a rocket is launched from the Gaza Strip to Israel on May 5, 2019.

Gaza terrorists launched a rocket attack against southern Israel on Wednesday night. It was the fifth rocket to be fired at Israel in six days.

Because the projectile landed in an open field, the Red Alert incoming rocket siren was not activated in any of the nearby communities, according to the IDF.
