The expansion of the Tunnel (and Bridge) Road from Jerusalem to Gush Etzion is expected to pass another milestone next week when an additional northern (short) tunnel will be opened for traffic. The additional southern (long) tunnel is not yet ready for traffic.

It’s hoped that opening this tunnel and road segment should help relieve some of the traffic jams to and from Jerusalem.
