Shooting Attack Near Tel Dotan, Armed Terrorist Fled Scene (Update: Captured)

An armed terrorist was shot by IDF forces and another terrorist fled with his weapon, after they had opened fire at a force guarding a tour bus traveling with students from the Eretz Israel Studies Department in Herzog College in the Tel Dotan area east of Mevo Dotan in the northern Samarian hills, on Rt. 585.

There are no Israeli casualties.

IDF forces returned fire and severely wounded a terrorist who had taken an entry hole in his back. The terrorist received intensive care and was evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.

Update: Following an intensive search, the second terrorist surrendered to IDF forces, in the mid-afternoon.
