Gazans break through Israeli border security fence, May 4 2018

While thousands of Gazans were rioting at the border with Israel on Friday, dozens of Gazans led by Hamas operatives were busy actually cutting through the border fence, as a video filmed by the Aljazeera news network and uploaded to Facebook shows.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, the Gazans who infiltrated into Israeli territory turned around and re-entered Gaza as soon as Israeli soldiers arrived on the scene.

The video, however, does not show that. The final few seconds show Gazans walking through open fields.

One wonders exactly which open fields the infiltrators ran to, and whether any of them managed to reach the farmland of the nearby Jewish communities.

Yes, they’re that close – that is why the IDF is being so vigilant in protecting the Gaza border.
