There is another important reason to vote Obama out. Our country was set up so that Congress could carefully deliberate important issues. This is done by scheduling hearings by various experts and having debates in Congress and in the media. Obama bypassed this process in passing his healthcare legislation. Whether or not one thinks Obamacare is a good plan, Obama should be shown the door for this process of passing legislation without proper discussions, which means passing laws without thinking.

Strange Reasoning
Though the judge who ordered the MTA to allow an ad to be posted on MTA buses came out with the right ruling, I can’t for the life of me understand his reasoning (“The MTA’s ‘Demeaning’ Double Standard,” editorial, Sept. 28).
He based his ruling on procedural grounds but said the ad itself was directed at Muslims. But the ad only contained the words “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. /Support Israel/Defeat Jihad.” No reference to Muslims, Arabs or indeed Islam.
Does the learned judge realize his opinion can be seen as identifying all Muslims with violent action?
