Some fifty Hareidi men stand in protest at a construction site in Gilo where ancient grave were found while digging.

They believe the bodies found are of Jews, and do not want them moved for the construction of new housing units that were planned for the site.

  1. Interfering with the dead is a violation of the Torah. Of course they have the right to protest against moving the bodies.

The attacks against Haredim in the comments is shocking. Plenty of Haredi Jews fight in the army, some of them are friends; and the Haredim I know who live here in the diaspora are also supporters of the Jewish state. To label an entire group of people because a small minority of Haredim are anti-Zionist is not acceptable.
