Heightened Police Alert in Jerusalem, Renewal of Riots Feared

IDF Radio reported that Jerusalem District Police has put out a red alert Sunday morning, in anticipation of a possible renewal of disturbances on Temple Mount and East Jerusalem. One Palestinian who attacked a small IDF unit was killed on Shabbat and 14 were wounded during a violent demonstration. Initial investigation into the event concluded that the soldiers acted according to regulations.
